Campfire Delivery Lead - Senior Consultant
About IvyPoint
Finance systems built around how clients operate.
IvyPoint is a Certified Campfire Implementation Partner helping companies build and modernize their finance operations through ERP implementation, finance architecture, integrations and automation. We combine accounting knowledge with systems expertise to implement solutions around how our clients actually operate.
Our practice focuses on Campfire, an AI-native ERP that brings together core accounting, revenue automation, reporting and close management.
About the Role
Take ownership from discovery to stabilization.
We are hiring a Campfire Delivery Lead at the Senior Consultant level to take ownership of client implementations from discovery through go-live and post-launch stabilization.
This role is suited to someone with a strong accounting background who has moved into ERP consulting, finance systems or implementation leadership. You understand how accounting teams operate, can translate their requirements into practical system designs and know how to keep an implementation moving while maintaining quality and client confidence.
You will lead more complex engagements, guide functional design decisions and provide direction and mentorship to other consultants. This is a hands-on role, not solely a project management position. You should be comfortable facilitating a discussion with a CFO or Controller and then working through configuration, data migration or reconciliation details with the delivery team.
Prior Campfire experience is not required. We are open to training the right person on Campfire. Strong accounting knowledge, ERP implementation leadership and sound client-facing judgment are the priorities.
What You Will Do
The work, from workshop to first close.
- Own implementation delivery.Lead engagements through discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, migration, testing, training, go-live and stabilization.
- Lead accounting and functional design.Translate business requirements into chart of accounts structures, reporting dimensions, entity structures, close processes, revenue workflows and appropriate financial controls.
- Manage the client relationship.Serve as the primary delivery contact, facilitate workshops, communicate progress, resolve issues and guide stakeholders through decisions and tradeoffs.
- Maintain control of scope and execution.Own delivery plans, milestones, dependencies and risks. Identify scope changes early and coordinate with IvyPoint leadership on priorities, resourcing and commercial implications.
- Oversee migration and integrations.Guide data mapping, cleansing, imports and reconciliation. Partner with technical resources to define integration requirements and validate the resulting accounting and reporting.
- Ensure launch readiness and adoption.Establish testing and acceptance criteria, oversee user acceptance testing, lead cutover planning and help clients successfully complete their first close in the new system.
- Strengthen the delivery practice.Review other consultants' work, provide practical coaching and improve implementation templates, documentation, training materials and repeatable delivery methods.
What You Will Bring
Accounting depth and implementation leadership.
- A strong accounting background gained through corporate accounting, controllership, public accounting or finance transformation, with practical understanding of close, reconciliations, financial reporting and controls.
- A proven record of leading ERP or finance systems implementations, with responsibility for delivery from requirements gathering through go-live.
- Hands-on functional consulting experience, including configuration, process design, data migration, testing and troubleshooting.
- The ability to turn accounting requirements into clear system decisions and explain those decisions to both finance and technical stakeholders.
- Strong client leadership and project discipline, including managing competing priorities, addressing difficult issues and recognizing when to escalate.
- A willingness to learn a new platform, remain hands-on and help other consultants develop their capabilities.
Experience implementing platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP or Workday is transferable to this role. A CPA or equivalent qualification, experience with multi-entity environments and familiarity with subscription revenue, ASC 606 or SaaS accounting would be valuable but are not required.
How We Deliver
AI executes. You direct and approve.
Every IvyPoint engagement runs through our own layer of task-specific AI agents that handle data mapping, configuration and documentation. Senior consultants initiate every task and approve every output before it touches a client instance. In this role you direct that work and own the judgment behind it.
What Success Looks Like
Clients who know what happens next.
Clients understand the implementation plan and the decisions they need to make. Accounting data reconciles, configurations support agreed requirements and teams are prepared to operate the system after launch. Risks and scope changes are addressed early, and other consultants benefit from your guidance and review.
