Campfire Delivery Lead - Consultant

About IvyPoint

Finance systems, processes and data that work together.

IvyPoint is a Certified Campfire Implementation Partner helping companies improve the way their finance systems, processes and data work together. Our work spans Campfire implementation, finance architecture, integrations, automation and user adoption.

Campfire combines core accounting, revenue automation, financial reporting and close management within an AI-native ERP platform.

About the Role

Take ownership of client workstreams.

We are hiring a Campfire Delivery Lead at the Consultant level to deliver client implementations and take ownership of accounting-focused project workstreams.

This role is suited to someone with an accounting background and hands-on ERP implementation experience who is ready for greater client and delivery responsibility. You may already be working in ERP consulting or finance systems, or you may have helped lead an implementation from within an accounting team.

Following training on Campfire, you will lead smaller, clearly scoped implementations and own functional workstreams within larger projects. Senior consultants and practice leadership will provide support for complex design decisions, significant risks and escalations.

You will be expected to do more than complete assigned tasks. You will organize your work, communicate directly with clients, identify issues and follow deliverables through to completion.

Prior Campfire experience is not required. We are open to training someone with the right accounting foundation, ERP implementation experience and ability to take ownership of client work.

What You Will Do

The work, from discovery to go-live.

  1. Lead defined implementations and workstreams.Coordinate activities, track milestones and deliver agreed outcomes on smaller engagements or assigned portions of larger implementations.
  2. Understand client accounting requirements.Run discovery sessions for your areas of responsibility, document current processes and help translate business needs into practical configurations and workflows.
  3. Configure and validate the system.Set up agreed accounting structures, reporting and processes in Campfire, seeking senior review where designs are complex or have broader implications.
  4. Prepare and reconcile migrated data.Work with clients on data collection, cleansing, mapping and imports. Validate balances and supporting detail, investigate discrepancies and document resolutions.
  5. Support integrations and testing.Document required data flows, coordinate with technical resources, develop test scenarios and manage issues through resolution and client acceptance.
  6. Train users and support go-live.Create useful documentation, deliver training, support cutover activities and help finance teams work through their initial reporting and close cycles.
  7. Keep delivery organized and transparent.Maintain project documentation, provide status updates, follow up on client dependencies and escalate risks or scope changes before they affect delivery.

What You Will Bring

An accounting foundation and hands-on ERP experience.

  • An accounting background with practical knowledge of general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience delivering an ERP implementation or finance systems rollout, including ownership of a functional workstream, substantial project deliverables or a smaller implementation.
  • Experience with activities such as requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, testing, training or post-launch support.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with financial data, spreadsheets and reconciliations.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to lead focused client discussions, explain issues and follow through on commitments.
  • The judgment to work independently within your responsibilities while asking for guidance and escalating issues when appropriate.

Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, Workday or another accounting-focused ERP is relevant. Consulting experience, an accounting qualification and exposure to multi-entity accounting, revenue recognition or subscription businesses would be helpful but are not required.

How We Deliver

AI executes. You direct and approve.

Every IvyPoint engagement runs through our own layer of task-specific AI agents that handle data mapping, configuration and documentation. Senior consultants initiate every task and approve every output before it touches a client instance. In this role you work alongside that layer and own the judgment behind your workstreams.

What Success Looks Like

Clients who know what is happening.

Your workstreams stay organized, deliverables are accurate and clients know what is happening and what is needed from them. You can explain the accounting behind your configurations, validate your work and recognize when a decision requires senior input. As your Campfire expertise develops, you take on increasing responsibility for complete implementations.
